Weather's been a mixed bag today—Met Office reckons light southerly winds at 8-12 knots, mostly cloudy with patches of drizzle, temps hovering at 12-14°C offshore. Sea state calm to slight, perfect for a late session if you're rugged up.

Tides from BBC Weather and UKHO: High water at Brighton around 4:20 PM (5.2m), low at 10:05 PM (1.1m), then building back up. Fish the incoming tide after dark for best action—currents stirring up baitfish.

Sunrise kicked off at 5:28 AM, sunset wrapped at 8:37 PM, so we're in that prime twilight window now with 15+ hours of light earlier.
