概要

 The candle gutters out and Luna is left in absolute darkness inside Sycamore Ridge's abandoned church. The voice from above has stopped, but the silence is worse—it listens. Feeling her way blind toward the door, she stumbles over a floorboard that gives way, revealing a narrow staircase descending into the earth. Below, the air smells of wet clay and something metallic. A single bare bulb hangs at the bottom, casting a pool of sick yellow light onto a dirt floor. And there, propped against the wall, is a photograph: her grandmother, much younger, standing beside a man whose face has been scratched out. On the back, in her grandmother's handwriting: 'Don't let them light the lamps.' Luna hears footsteps creaking above—slow, deliberate, descending from the steeple. She is not alone. She has a choice: go deeper into the dark, or face whatever is coming down.
