概要
Welcome back to Fictional Analysis! 🎙️I am your host, Kajal. This week, I am back with another mafia romance review. Make sure to tap that follow button so you never miss an upload!
In this episode, we break down:
The Setup: This episode covers the book Born into Obsession by Sonja Grey. It is the eighth installment in the Melnikov legacy series, which is a second-generation story. The plot centers on Nikita, a Melnikov mafia hacker, and Savanna, a college student aiming to be a kindergarten teacher.
The Romance: The two characters first meet at Sasha and Cynthia's wedding. It is love at first sight, though they initially feel out of each other's league.
The Conflict: A man calling himself Cupid kidnaps Savanna. Nikita has to find a creative way to locate her that does not involve hacking into a system.
The Critique: I enjoyed that Nikita's power is obvious without him having to yell or shout threats. However, the story ultimately lacked both spice and action.
The Verdict: I am giving this book a rating of 3 out of 5 stars. It is a decent read, but it is highly recommended to read the original Melnikov series first to understand the parents' background stories.
I need your help! 🆘I would appreciate it if you could recommend some spicy and exciting novels to me for next week's review.
