In this imaginative and thought-provoking Teatime, Miss Liz welcomes James Bow, an award-winning Canadian author known for writing science fiction and fantasy for both young readers and adults. A lifelong fan of the genre, James was introduced early to the worlds of sci-fi and fantasy through stories like Doctor Who and classic authors such as J. R. R. Tolkien. to the worlds of sci-fi and fantasy early through shows His passion for storytelling led him to create his own imaginative worlds, earning him the prestigious Prix Aurora Award for Best YA Novel in Canada for Icarus Down. By day, James works as a communications officer supporting environmental conservation efforts, helping protect land and community spaces. By night, he continues to explore new worlds through his writing—blending creativity, curiosity, and a love for storytelling.
