Today we are studying Matthew Chapter 23. In this chapter, Jesus warns against the hypocrisy of the scribes and Pharisees, calls out religious pride and outward appearances, and expresses sorrow over Jerusalem—showing us that God desires sincerity, humility, and hearts that truly follow Him. We are shown that God is not impressed by outward religion—He desires genuine faith, humility, and integrity. It calls us to examine our hearts, live out our faith authentically, and serve others with sincerity and love.
