He sent IWC Schaffhausen a detailed brief: take the classic Ingenieur SL reference 1832 from 1976, slim the case, fit a green dial. IWC said yes. The result became one of the most talked-about timepieces of 2025 – and the film just won the Oscar for Best Sound at the 98th Academy Awards.
