概要
In this week's message, we take a hard look at Romans 2:1-16 — a passage that confronts the self-righteous tendency in all of us who are quick to judge the world while ignoring our own hearts.
We explore four truths about God's judgment: it rightly falls on hypocrites, it is stored up for those who presume on His kindness, it is rendered impartially, and it will expose the secrets of every heart. But in the middle of all of this, there is breathtaking hope — the One who will one day judge us is the same One who died in our place.
Key Scriptures: Romans 2:1-16 | Ephesians 2:4-7
Next Steps:
- Ask yourself honestly: Am I pointing fingers while practicing the same things?
- Are you presuming on God's patience without taking steps to change?
- If you were accused of being a Christian today, would there be evidence?
- Is there a secret you need to bring to the light? Confession is the doorway.
- Repentance is simply choosing a different route. What would that look like for you this week?
