 Autism rates have risen dramatically over the past several decades. Why? In this episode, I speak with medical researcher Matthew Cormier about a developing scientific hypothesis: whether immune dysregulation, chronic inflammation, and latent viral reactivation may play a role in the modern rise of autism spectrum disorders, as well as a myriad of other chronic illnesses, cancers, and allergies. Cormier shows how many environmental changes, including vaccines, have shown a proclivity to dysregulate the immune system, including reactivating chronic, latent versions of the viruses associated with autism. He also discusses the alarming decline in human body temperature and what it says about our immune health. This episode does not offer medical advice.
