Psalm 23:4 — Jesus, Stay Close and Bring Calm to My Evening - Live from London, England • Canada • Brazil • Kenya • India Psalm 23:4 (NIV): “Even though I walk through a gentle and uncertain place, I will fear no harm, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” Psalm 91:2 (NIV): “I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’” Jesus, as this evening begins to settle across my day, I pause to find steady peace in Your presence. Sometimes the hours before nightfall can stir quiet worries, unspoken concerns, or gentle feelings of uncertainty about what is still ahead. But Your Word assures me that I never walk alone. You remain close, guiding my steps with quiet strength and surrounding my heart with calm that lifts the weight I may carry. Thank You that Your comfort is gentle, steady, and safe. Your nearness strengthens me without pressure, and Your care holds me without fear. Lord, You remind me that even when my thoughts feel busy or my emotions feel stretched, Your peace remains available. You walk with me, not rushing me, not leaving me, but providing a stillness that helps my heart breathe again. You bring reassurance that the path ahead is supported by Your wisdom, and every moment is held within Your faithful love. Let Your peace soften the edges of this evening, bringing clarity, balance, and gentle renewal. Jesus, guide me into a calm and steady rhythm as night approaches. Let Your Word rest over my thoughts. Let Your presence settle in my home. Let Your love anchor every part of me with confidence that is light, peaceful, and secure. Thank You that You surround my life with goodness, watch over my journey, and carry me with kindness. I trust You completely, knowing that You remain my comfort, my support, and my peace. Amen.
