Psalm 23:5 — Jesus, Bring Quiet Peace and Gentle Strength to My Night Live from London, England • Brazil • Kenya • Portugal • United States Psalm 23:5 (NIV): “You prepare a table before me in the presence of what unsettles me. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.” Psalm 91:1 (NIV): “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Jesus, as the night settles over my home, my thoughts, and the rhythm of my day, I come to You for calm reassurance. Evening can bring a mixture of reflection, gratitude, and at times gentle concerns that rise in the quiet hours. Thank You that You meet me with peace that flows softly and steadily, bringing balance back to the places within me that feel stretched. Your presence creates a sense of stability that helps my mind unwind and my heart rest. You promise to prepare a place of peace before me, even when the day has carried challenges. Your care reassures me that I am not alone in the evening hours. You bring comfort that helps me breathe more calmly and think more clearly. Your Word reminds me that when I draw near to You, I find rest that shapes the atmosphere of my night. Obrigado Senhor, for Your continual presence that surrounds me, a gentle Portuguese echo reminding me of oração, descanso, paz, esperança. Lord, let this night be a moment of quiet restoration. Guide my thoughts into a healthier rhythm. Strengthen my emotions with reassurance that You are watching over me. Thank You for the hope You breathe into every hour, the comfort You offer through Your Word, and the peace that reaches across nations—from the USA to India, from Portugal to Brazil—reminding me that You are near to all who call on You. Jesus, as I prepare for rest, let Your peace be the covering over my night and the strength that carries me into tomorrow with confidence and calm.
