概要
Jack Kelley joins Dr. Heather Lynn to explore Atlantis not as a lost utopia or pseudo-history, but as a complex philosophical problem embedded in Plato’s writings, Western civilization’s origins, and humanity’s recurring obsession with forgotten golden ages.
A trained classicist and deep skeptic, Jack originally dismissed Atlantis as a literary fiction with no real value. Years later, that assumption collapsed. His investigation ultimately led to the creation of the award-winning documentary The Atlantis Puzzle and a companion book that reframes Atlantis as a multilayered riddle about civilization, memory, catastrophe, and the nature of historical truth itself.
This conversation moves beyond sensationalism and into the uncomfortable middle ground between myth, philosophy, archaeology, and cultural psychology.
Jack Kelley studied ancient history, philosophy, literature, language, and architecture at Yale University through its Directed Studies program. He is the writer and producer of Solver (2018) and the creator of the award-winning documentary The Atlantis Puzzle (2024).
