  • The Miller's Squared (Part 2 of 2)

    In this two-part podcast, we sit down with Mr. Jacob Miller and Mr. Brandon Miller, both Social Studies Teachers at Garinger High School, and chat about the current state of education, student grading in a Title I school, and vocational needs of the community in general and how the public school system can respond.

    Mr. Jacob Miller is a native of Charlotte and an alumnus of East Meck High and The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He graduated from UNCC with a Bachelor of Arts in history with minors in political science and secondary education. He has taught at Garinger High School for the past three years and currently serves as the Assistant Baseball Coach.

    Mr. Brandon Miller is an alumnus of East Carolina University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History Education. This is his fourth year teaching and his third year at Garinger High school. He is the advisor for the Drama Club and Bible Club.
