Their bodies were found along Guerneville Road, Calistoga Road, and the creeks near Santa Rosa, just miles apart. No one was ever caught. I grew up near those same roads, worked where the first victims were last seen alive, and only years later learned what haunted the place I called home. This is the story of the Santa Rosa Hitchhiker Murders — and how ordinary roads can hold the darkest secrets.
