概要
What if your breakfast could support your hormones, your cholesterol, and your gut health — without feeling like “health food”?
In this episode, we sit down with Gita Chakrabarti, founder of gutBFF Granola, a Bentonville-based brand making plant-diverse, crispy, and seriously delicious granola designed to support real gut health.
After a career spanning retail, consulting, and manufacturing, Gita felt called to pursue her true passion: creating food that improves health. Through navigating her own journey with PCOS, fertility, and cholesterol — without pharmaceuticals — she experienced firsthand how powerful dietary change can be. That journey led to the creation of gutBFF, a granola that delivers 20 different plants (including Lion’s Mane!) in every serving.
We talk about:
- Using food as a foundation for healing
- The importance of plant diversity for gut health
- Entrepreneurship and building a local brand
- What it really takes to pivot toward purpose
Gita lives in Bentonville with her husband and 12-year-old daughter and loves yoga and travel. Originally from South Carolina, she’s lived all over the world — bringing global perspective into every batch she makes.
