This story shows the importance of acting on compassion. It is voiced by the English gardener, presenter, and novelist Alan Titchmarsh.
Alan Fred Titchmarsh - after working as a professional gardener and a gardening journalist- managed to establish himself as a media personality through appearances on gardening programmes. Titchmarsh was appointed an MBE in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to horticulture and broadcasting.
