あらすじ・解説
The Canterville Ghost was the first of Oscar Wilde's short stories to be published in 1887. Laurence Olivier plays the ghost of Sir Simon de Canterville which haunts the ancient house of Canterville Chase. When new tenants arrive, the Otis family from America, his reign of terror suddenly ends!
"Theatre Royal" is a series of radio dramas owned and restored by Heritage Media, part of the Divine Art Recordings Group. First broadcast in 1953-4, it was the only radio series in which Laurence Olivier played dramatic roles. Other leading actors included Ralph Richardson, Orson Welles, Margaret Lockwood, Alec Guinness, Robet Donat and Trevor Howard.
