German Level 3 Lessons 11-15 builds on material taught in prior units. Each lesson provides 30 minutes of spoken language practice, with an introductory conversation and new vocabulary and structures. Detailed instructions enable you to understand and participate in the conversation. Each lesson contains practice for vocabulary introduced in previous lessons. The emphasis is on pronunciation and comprehension and on learning to speak German.

The only program I have tried that works
I have tried several of these types of courses, and this one is the only one that is actually teaching me to speak German.

Male speaker is horrible!
I had really hoped by German Phase 3 they would have replaced the male speaker. His pronunciation is different from the female speaker, which wouldn't bother me so much if he didn't speak so rapidly and slur the words. I have spent an inordinate amount of time rewinding and searching searching on the internet trying to figure out what the heck he is saying. The program is great otherwise but the male speaker makes it unenjoyable.
