27 Hours of audio lessons and FREE PDF

The 27 hours of audio and FREE PDF found in my audible "library" make this a good deal. The teaching method is identical to the one the author used in his Learning Spanish Like Crazy Beginner Spanish Bundle. If you loved that method then you will also love these lessons. There are 56 lessons in this program. Each one of the the 56 lessons are about 25 minutes long. With some shorter and others longer. The difference between this and the Learning Spanish Like Crazy Beginner Bundle is that this one focuses more on teaching Spanish pronouns and prepositions. The other focused more on the topic of conjugating Spanish verbs. The two programs really compliment one another in my opinion.

Handy Spanish vocabulary and talking about possess

What I like most about these lessons is that I am learning Spanish vocabulary that will come in handy while learning important components of Spanish grammar like how to talk about possession. I have learned the Spanish words for computer, printer, scanner, etc. Of course, any modern or recent Spanish course could have taught me those words. But Fast Lane Spanish has also taught me how to express possession. Not only can I say "that's a computer in Spanish" But I can express that the computer, printer, scanner, etc. is mine, yours, his, hers, ours or theirs. And it doesn't stop there. I can also talk about possession by saying that "it" (when referring to just one computer, printer, scanner, etc.) is mine, yours, his, hers, ours or theirs. And I can do the same when referring to "plural objects" and say that the "they" are mine, yours, his, hers, ours or theirs when referring to multiple computers, printers, scanners, etc. . In our native language we take these things for granted, not realizing how often we talk about possession in normal everyday conversations. Not realizing that it would be very hard, if not impossible, to be fully conversational in another language without being able to talk about possession.

A great way to master Spanish for everyday con

The unique approach employed in this program has given me the confidence that I can learn Spanish pretty fast and become skilled at conjugating Spanish verbs for ease of communication. The use of Spanish pronouns and prepositions in this language instruction has helped me construct sentences with ease as I progress. Although it seems like a steep learning curve, the instructor gives relevant examples which are helpful in putting every word or phrase into different contexts. I anticipated my growth in realizing new dimensions for Spanish pronunciation to be in continuous leaps and bounds, and I can say I wasn’t disappointed. In lesson 8 for example, the exercise tested my grasp of possessive adjectives and possessive pronouns learned from previous lessons by giving me an opportunity to respond first before listening to the correct Spanish translation. This was a critical moment for me to remember what I had learnt and apply it in real-time. This meant that every time I could not translate straight away I had to go back and refresh my memory. Such exercises form a critical component of the program that gives any learner the necessary tools to test user response. The addition of vocabulary at each stage is particularly important in reinforcing a rich arsenal of words that are integral to a participatory approach. There is some repetition of particular words or phrases which helps to refresh the memory with specific examples that keep the momentum and flow.

Muffled audio.

The female speaker's audio is muffled, making it impossible to clearly hear her words. Since this is an audiobook intended to help learn a language, this issue renders the product useless.

A fantastic deal and I’ll tell you why

There is probably one of the better deals on Audible for learning Spanish. Not only are there something like 56 lessons but there are also 26 plus hours of audio. To top it off, the lessons are great. I prefer a program that has some explanation in English but not too much. This one has just the right amount of explanation in English so that I understand the language or the grammar – without over doing it. The rest of the time I am engaging with the native Spanish speaking narrator and the voice actors in Fast Lane Beginner Spanish.

Feel as if I've already mastered Spanish interroga

I just finished the first lesson and I must go record to say I am very impressed. These lessons use the same interactive listen-guess-listen-repeat method the author used in his other programs. Using a very engaging method, in the first lesson I learned Spanish for these interrogative words and phrases: - Which? - Which one? - Which ones? - What? - For what? - Why? - When? - Where? - How? - How many? - How much? - How much do you weigh? - Who? - Whom? - Whose car is this? - Whose book is this? And I didn't merely learn a bunch of canned questions. I learned how to construct questions in Spanish by first laying the foundation with learning basic Spanish vocabulary along with interrogative words. I took a quick glance only at the PDF for the next lesson which is number 2 (haven't listened to any of the audio). And the lesson teaches how to conjugate the Spanish irregular verb "querer" while teaching some vocabulary that I can use when eating in a restaurant in Latin America. Like the authors, other Spanish programs, all of the speakers in Fast Lane Beginner Spanish are obviously native Spanish speakers.

Prepositional phrases demystified finally

I have gone through lesson number four twice. And this is the first learning Spanish system that I have found that demystifies Spanish prepositional phrases for beginners. Now I feel confident making a distinction in Spanish between beneath, under, below, etc. And I have the same confidence making a distinction in Spanish between above vs. on top of. These may not sound like major issues for some Spanish language learners but when you are in Latin America trying to give directions to a taxi driver in Spanish, this can make the difference between getting dropped off at your hotel or getting dropped off at the wrong location.

No sequel :(

I loved everything about this set of lessons - the narration, the content, the pace. I was able to progress through all 56 lessons by doing two lessons per day (about an hour) while doing yard or house work with wireless headphones. The woman's voice is muffled at times and hard to distinguish words that were new to me, but I could usually make it out after hearing the male speaker repeat it. This is the farthest I have progressed with beginner Spanish and I was excited to move forward, but am terribly disappointed that I can't find a sequel to this series. The link to contact the publisher on their site is also broken. I tried the intermediate level of "Learn Spanish Like Crazy", which lists the same narrators, but it doesn't sound like the same people at all and they don't break down the phrases and teach the same way. So now I'm searching for where to go next that will allow me to continue learning at a good pace with a similar methodology.

Awesome

Another excellent program by Learning Spanish Like Crazy. Love it. Most appreciate the breakdown of using “se” and por vs para. Perfect. Y’all are amazing.

With this book, Spanish is as simple as ABC

So far, this is the best audiobook I have listened to. It is well-detailed and explanatory. The first lesson was very explanatory and directional. The amazing thing about this book is that each lesson has a lot in store for you. In lesson 1, I learned how to ask some questions in Spanish.

So appropriately named

It is a quick and easy way to learn Spanish. The creator of this audio lessons was right to have named it “Fast Lane Beginners Spanish Language Audiobooks”. In just a few minutes I started listening and already gaining lots of insight into the structure and pronunciation of the Spanish language.

The lazy learner’s guide to Spanish

This is the audible book for us lazy learners. Fast lane learning with little stress. You can say few Spanish sentences in little time after listening. To ask “which one?”, you say “Cuál?” and to ask “which ones?”, you say “Cuáles?”. These are some of the things you will learn under five minutes of listening to the audiobook.

Starts slow but gets more complex

Scaling through lessons 1-10 was easy. The learning gets more complex afterward and at the same time more fun. The narrator introduces more engaging Spanish grammar and vocabulary like saying a sentence and asking you to identify or say the correct answer to a word. A real-life scenario is incorporated and you will be asked questions in Spanish where your response needs to be in Spanish. This is a fantastic way of practicing what you learned.

Not useful vocabulary, little explanation.

The vocabulary taught with the verbs is not useful at the start. Emphasis on memorisation.

In my opinion definitely outstanding

I consider this learning-Spanish method outstanding. It helps me to think and hear the Spanish that’s al around me. The progress I am making with this method is more than I remember ever attaining using any other method. Words cannot effectively describe how outstanding the narrators and voice actors are in Fast Lane Beginner Spanish.

What a comprehensive book!

When I say comprehensive, this audiobook is an exact definition of comprehensive. It explains everything in a well-detailed manner to help the listener learn in a timely manner. I enjoyed all the lessons in this book, but one of my best is lesson 40 where I had to learn how to use reflexive objects.

This audiobook is very reliable

This book is very reliable as it touched the most important aspects of Spanish Language and it also ensured the words are clearly-pronounced. While reading lesson 35, I learned how to use “can” and “to be able to.” Using these words can be very confusing but this book explained it thoroughly.

Very interesting

In lesson 17, I was able to learn how to use direct objects pronouns like “them” “you” “him” in Spanish. This audiobook is very interesting as it carries you along. Learning a different kind of language can be very difficult, but this book made it quite easy for me.

This is really engaging

I have listened to several audiobooks, but this particular audiobook is very different from others. I realized that it is very engaging. While listening to it, I felt like I was in the classroom with a teacher. It feels so alive. The first two lessons encouraged me to listen further and I did.
