This gave me a more than basic understanding

The audio book gave me a more than basic understanding of what a therapist deals with on a daily basis. One wrong line of reason and the patient does not return. I listen to it for my own benefit.

An excellent audio book for beginners.

I was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and anxiety disorder. I was having severe panic attacks that would sometimes lead to self harm. This audio book helped me so much.

Great combination listen following audible guide.

There is a mix of listening lecture and answering worksheets which is a great combination. There's a reflection after each chapter that really helps me remember what i learned.
