What a dumb collection of books

Don't waste your time, this collection is re awful. The narrations is of poor quality, the content is written like it was from people who are not writers or even native english speakers. If you do a search for the author's name, they are not reputable authors with no experience in the material. To top it off all the reviews are fake, completelt fake. Read the positive reviews and you'll notice they are all written by the same person.

A good book about decision making

Overall a good book. David has acquired a large list of mental models that are interesting and useful. Most of the mental models seem isolated, and some are more powerful than others. The book alone won't change your life, but some of the models, if applied shrewdly and with critical thinking, probably can.

It could change your life.

I'd been aware of some of the things in this book for a while, but I can tell this is epic collection of mental models collated in to a single book and arranged in logical order is going to have a significant effect on the way I look at life (not just work). Only a chapter in and I find this book engaging and enjoyable while educational.

Very useful survey.

Very useful survey of useful basic concepts. I have been writing along these lines myself for years, but this book is a fairly comprehensive reference manual. Definitions of concepts clear and concise. In a few cases, made my own understanding more precise.

One of the most important book

This is a book I know I will return to again and again. Mental models can help just about anyone in any given situation at any time. So, having a place where they are nicely organized will be immensely helpful.

The entirety of human wisdom in one book

This is probably the most useful book ever created, and it really bugs me it's not more popular. If I could have 1 book it would be this one.

A lot of practical models and frameworks ...

Just got this book today and I started listening it. It contains a lot of valuable frameworks, some that you might already know but with new examples. This book is super helpful for management consultants, product managers and everyone else who want to simplify the complexity of their work challenges.

Really good intro to mental models

This is a really great intro to mental models - they cover a lot of them from sociology, economics, and cognitive science. Very listenable and the tips are great. This is definitely an intro book - the models aren't examined in an academic sort of way, but this very skillfully tips how these principles work in everyday life.

Fascinating listen, excellent explanations

Well-thought-out exposition of models, many from the world of start-ups. Great, current examples. Fun listening, even just to be reminded of models I already knew about.

Lots of good Mental Models

This book is filled with gems on how to operate in life. Many of us go blindly into situations that we face in life without a proper mental model of how to assess or react to the circumstances, but this book does a splendid job to equip you with the right frame of mind.

A Treatise on Multi-Disciplinary Thinking

I’ve been a fan of Fishburne for many years, and as Fishburne says so well, this book is about signal over noise. Excellent and very much needed written work on how to apply mental models to thinking about and solving life’s problems as quickly as possible utilizing probabilistic thinking. This is a must listen for the thinkers among us, and it really resonated with me. I am looking forward to the follow up books to come.
